The mission of The Mosque Cares |Ministry of Imam W. Deen Mohammed Coordinated Sick Committee is to facilitate community contact for Muslims who are ill, hospitalized, confined to a nursing home, rehabilitating or recuperating at home or in a medical facility. It is our goal to reach out with concern, care and compassion.

This Sick Committee consists of community volunteers who are dedicated to providing spiritual support, encouragement and caring words. Through telephone contact, sending cards/note/letters, and visitation our goal is to maintain contact with our sick & shut-in by providing comfort, companionship, kindness, and prayer during their time of sickness and physical/emotional recovery.
“There is no Muslim who visits a sick muslim early in the morning but 70 thousand angles send blessings upon him until evening comes, and if he visits him in the evening, 70 thousand angles send blessings upon him until morning comes, and he will have a garden in paradise.” [Tirmidhi]
